Optional Excursions

You will enjoy many of North America's famous highlights as included features of your tour.  However, we also offer an exciting choice of additional excursions which are made available to help you turn an already outstanding experience into the trip of a lifetime!  These excursions are entirely optional.  They can all be booked through your Tour Director at the beginning of your tour.  The following is a general list for guidance and budgeting purposes only, actual optional excursions and prices will be advised by your Tour Director at the beginning of your tour.  These may vary due to seasonal conditions.  All prices are quoted in US Dollars and all prices are subject to change without notice.  Payment options include: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, cash and Traveler's Checks.  Your Tour Director will confirm receipt of payment for the excursions you have booked.  Child prices apply to children 11 years of age and under.

NIAGARA FALLS

NIAGARA FALLS HELICOPTER FLIGHTSEEING

Enjoy an exhilarating and scenic helicopter flight and experience the views of the awe-inspiring Niagara Region as you gently lift off over the Whirlpool Rapids and Rainbow Bridge. See the green grass and floral beauty of Queen Victoria Park stretch below you as the helicopter passes by the American Falls and Skylon Tower. Enjoy a whale watching cruise on the Gulf of Maine, which is home to humpback, finback, and Minke whales. Due to the catamaran's speed, the boat offers passengers the most efficient whale watching trip available. You will arrive at the whale viewing areas very quickly, giving you maximum viewing time during your voyage. (Cruise is approximately 3-3 1/2 hours. Please note: whales are wild animals and cover many square miles every day. Your jet powered boat is the fastest available, so you can search the broadest area. HARVARD CAMPUS EXPERIENCE

Come along for an enlightning experience on the beautiful and historic campus of one of the world's premiere educational institutions. Our walk of 45-60 minutes around the famous Harvard Yard includes views of the 320,000-square-foot Widener Library, home to 57 miles of bookshelves and 3 million volumes, the Harvard Memorial Church honoring the men and women of Harvard University who gave their lives in World War I, Massachusetts Hall, the oldest surviving building at Harvard College and one-time dormitory to several of our Founding Fathers including John Adams, John Hancock and Samuel Adams, and the John Harvard Statue, honoring the university's first benefactor. After our walk we break for lunch on your own at one of the many restaurants around Harvard Square, before we head back toward the hotel. On the way we pass by Tory Row with its many fabulous homes built in different architectural styles from the Georgian and Victorian eras, including the Longfellow House, home of the influential 19th century poet and Harvard professor Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
