However, there is an exciting array of optional excursions which will turn an already amazing experience into the trip of a lifetime! These are entirely optional and are bookable through your Tour Director/Local Representative at the commencement of your tour. All prices are quoted in local currency. Payment can be made in cash or by Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

The final list of optional excursions to be offered during your tour by your Tour Director will be based on the descriptions and pricing featured in this leaflet. To help your pre-tour budgeting we suggest you allow approximately € 45 per person per day for optional excursions.
ROM16 INTRODUCTION TO ROME This walking tour takes you to the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona with its pavement cafes, 17th century fountains and architecture. Perhaps have your portrait painted by one of the street artists! This tour is conducted by a local guide and you will utilise personal headsets. € 32
ROM19 ROME OF THE ANCIENT CHRISTIANS We visit the Catacombs, which are early Christian underground cemetries carved out of soft Tufa Stone. Then to St. Peter in Chains to view the magnificent ‘Moses’ sculpture by Michelangelo. € 34
ROM05 DINNER IN ROME AND ILLUMINATIONS We begin with a visit to a local 'ristorante' to try a selection of Roman dishes prepared in the Roman way by Romans. Drinks such as wine; beer and softdrinks are included. After a delicious meal accompanied by music, we take you to see Rome beautifully illuminated. Our journey takes us past sights including the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and Michealangelo's 'Cordonata' to name but a few. A night not to be missed. € 57

FLO09 SAN GIMIGNANO EXCURSION A delightful excursion to Tuscany’s most famous hill-top town. San Gimignano is considered the medieval Manhattan of Italy due to its towers which dominate the skyline. There’s time to enjoy the atmosphere of this unchanged ancient jewel perfectly which has remained intact since the 14th century, and today is a UNESCO World Heritage town. € 31
ITL01S ISOLA BELLA - A TASTE OF ITALY The premier attraction of Lake Maggiore is the Borromean Islands. Our lake cruise takes us to Isola Bella, the largest and most famous island, renowned for its incredible palace and stunning Botanical Gardens. A guided tour of this privately owned palace with free time to admire the gardens, is a must. € 34
ITL03 MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE WITH FONDUE LUNCH We embark on an exciting excursion, which takes us by cable car to the summit of Mottarone for breathtaking views of the Swiss peaks and five Alpine lakes. At the top of the mountain we enjoy a Fondue lunch and local wines. € 49
VCE06 MAGICAL VENICE This evening we board our private boats for a cruise down the famous “Grand Canal”, past illuminated palazzi and twinkling chandeliers, to the romantic St Mark’s Square. SRR02A ISLE OF CAPRI, ANACAPRI & LUNCH The Isle of Capri is best seen on a minibus tour. We drive to Anacapri with its magnificent views over the Mediterranean. We then have a guided tour of the famous Villa San Michele, then free time to window shop before continuing to Capri town. Light lunch is included.
