After breakfast, we will travel to the northern part of Taiwan to visit YANGMINGSHAN NATIONAL PARK ~  HSIAO YU KENG. Elevation of 800 meters and contains a host of volcanically-created fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and landslides. Sulfur vents noisily spew forth gases, and hot springs discharge endless streams of boiling water. Next visit FLOWER CLOCK GARDEN, which is characterized by a large clock made of flowers with a diameter of 22 feet. Water runs around the flower clock and music is played every hour. During different season, different type of flower can be view here. Next enjoy the coastal road scenic site as we travel to CHIU-FEN, the actual filming site of popular Taiwan movie, “Sad City”. The town has retained the heritage of its mining past as well as the simple charm of an earlier time. You may wish to try some famous local dishes such as Taro, Sweet Potato Balls or Fish Balls. Then, proceed to NORTHEAST COASTAL SCENIC SITES ~ view BITOU CAPE is one of the "Three Capes of North Taiwan. Most of the sea-eroded landform types of the entire Northeast Coast are found here, including the sea cliffs, undercut bluffs, and platforms which are more fully developed here than anywhere else in Taiwan. The sea-eroded platforms are thick with mush-room-shaped rocks, honeycomb rock, tofu (bean curd) rock, and marine fossils. Next, have an impressive look at the BAY OF 2 COLOUR ~ YING YANG SEA one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. In the evening, visit the most popular district – XIMENTING, a shopping paradise for both young and old.
