Ampawa - Bangkok (B, L)
Early morning, freshen up and ''make merit'' by giving some alms to the local Buddhist monks (by the river or in front of the resort depending on where you stay). Then take a boat ride through the canals to Damneon Saduak in neighboring Ratchaburi province to visit the busy floating market before the tourists buses arrive. Take a paddle boat through the busy canals as the traders prepare for the days business. Return to Amphawa by long-tail boat in time for lunch. In the afternoon visit Rama II Park, built to commemorate the "Poet King" and patron of the arts, where a group of typical Thai Houses have been converted to a museum. See an interesting collection of music instruments, beautiful masks and various household items used by the King as well as a statue of King Rama II and an exhibition of his works. Drive back to Bangkok.
