Day 1 Datong

On arrival, guide will meet you at the train station. Transfer to the hotel.

Datong

Today's Activities: Yungang Grotto, Wooden Pagoda, Hanging Monastery
Have a visit of Yungang Grotto, the oldest one of the three major cave clusters in China. Continue to explore the Wooden Pagoda and the Hanging Monastery, which is an architectural wonder.

Day 3

Datong to Taiyuan

Today's Activities: Twin-Pagoda Temple
Transfer to the train station. Take the train from Datong to Taiyuan. Meet the guide and visit to Twin-Pagoda Temple, the symbol of Taiyuan. Transfer to the hotel in Taiyuan.

Day 4

Taiyuan to Pingyao

Today's Activities: Qiao Family Compound
In the morning take the private car to Pingyao. On the way, visit the Qiao Family Compound which is the biggest in Ming dynasty. Transfer to the hotel in Pingyao.

Day 5

Pingyao to Taiyuan

Today's Activities: Pingyao Ancient City, Jinci Temple
Have a half-day visit of Pingyao Ancient City. You will take a walk along the street to fully appreciate the atmosphere of this ancient city. Drive back to Taiyuan in the afternoon and visit the Jinci Temple, very famous historical cultural relics. Transfer to the hotel.
