Day 1 Beijing to Datong

You will take the train from Beijing to Datong in the afternoon.

Datong

Today's activities: Yungang Grotto, Datong Nine Dragon Screen
On arrival, guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you and transfer to the hotel. Have a visit of Yungang Grotto, the oldest one of the three major cave clusters in China. Then explore The Datong Nine Dragon Screen, is presently the oldest and largest glazed screen.

Datong

Today's activities: Hanging Monastery, Wooden Pagoda
Take a day tour to the Hanging Monastery which is an architectural wonder. Continue to the Wooden Pagoda, the oldest wooden structure in China.
